Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist #1021 - Tape Number: 1021

Career Profile:
Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist #1021

This prosthetist/orthotist knows first hand what it's like to be one of his patients. A farm accident resulted in the loss of his leg as a teenager. During his recovery and rehabilitation, he became very interested in the technology used in prosthetics and orthotics. He always had an interest in the medical field, but didn't want to become a doctor.

So, following college he spent two more years training to become a prosthetist/orthotist. His residency included work in a children's hospital in Connecticut.

He loves helping people who are going through a life-changing experience.

The studying hasn't stopped for this Iowa native. He's currently studying to earn a Masters of Business Administration degree.
