With almost 20 years in the computer industry, this professional relates high school subjects with his current position. He believes the following classes have helped him in his career: history, social studies, science, English, speech, debate, math, physical education, typing and accounting! What did he learn in a high school history class that has helped him in his computer career? He says, "History always repeats itself. And in troubleshooting computer problems, I always want to be aware of past issues and how I handled them."

In this session, students interact with a Senior Desktop Analyst. He is a part of team of computer specialists and is vital to the functioning of the team. His duties include: communicating with customers, building new computers, documenting hardware and software issues, installing software, managing application roll-outs, troubleshooting problems, and recommending technical solutions.
