Career Profile:
Account Manager #1117
In second grade, this Account Manager decided he would be a professional sports announcer when he grew up. Motivated by his love of athletics, he followed this dream through college and beyond. Along the way, he worked as a top disk jockey at a rock 'n roll radio station, and then became an Account Manager, selling advertising for one of Iowa's business magazines. Always, his true passion has been sports announcing. Working as a sports announcer in addition to his "day job," has allowed him to pursue his love of sports. This dual career requires him to put in long hours on evenings and weekends, not just in front of the microphone, but also talking to the coaches, learning about the players, and most importantly, reading. He's proof that it is possible to be involved in two different professions and combine them for a doubly-rewarding career.
