Career Profile:
Certified Recreational Vehicle Service Technician #1011
This certified recreational vehicle service technician loves his job. Often times, he starts his day listening to a recreational vehicle (RV) owner describe a problem with the RV. Problems range from motor to plumbing problems. He has the skills to repair or replace any part of an RV. In order to do this he often checks blueprints and repair manuals. It is important for him to know which parts he has on inventory, so he uses a computer to locate parts. After repairing or locating a part, he uses a variety of common hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment and electronic testing devices. He is good at this work because of his broad training which includes carpentry, electricity, plumbing, motor mechanics, etc.
He enjoys the fact that every day is different. He also enjoys listening to customers tell him about their travels.
This technician has also been a wrestling coach for several years.
