Composer
A composer writes original music such as symphonies, operas, musicals, and popular songs. A composer transcribes ideas into musical notations using knowledge of harmony, rhythm, melody, tonal structure, and other elements of music theory. Some compose and edit music using computers, or may have a musical keyboard linked to a computer that compiles the digital information into musical notation while it is being played.
