Nurse Anesthetist
A nurse anesthetist assists in operations under the supervision of the surgeon. A nurse anesthetist reviews reports of the patient's general health and history, interviews patients prior to surgery and selects anesthesia under the supervision of a surgeon. A nurse anesthetist administers anesthesia before and during surgery and monitors patient progress during surgery. Most provide care for patients after surgery during recovery.
