Pharmacist
Dispenses drugs and medicine prescribed by doctors and dentists. Advises people on the use of over-the-counter medicines. Keeps computerized records of patients' prescriptions to ensure that harmful drug interactions do not occur. Advises doctors on the selection and use of drugs. May prepare medicines and test drugs for purity and strength. In drug stores also buys and sells goods, and hires and supervises staff. May teach, do research, write and edit technical articles, or do consulting work.
