Questions

I'm looking into a career in biochemistry as a senior in high school. My economics class is researching the career that you wish to go into, and so I need basic information on the career such as salary, best place to work, benefits etc. Help would be much appreciated since this is for my future as well as my present.

Questions

I'm doing a career project. The career I chose was a biochemist. Would it be possible to ask a couple of questions for my report?

1. How much money do you make?

2. Whht do you enjoy most about being a biochemist?

Jobs

What kinds of job openings are there in the field of Biochemisty?

Is there a very high demand for workers?

Are there a lot of Biochemists currently working now?

What chance of getting a job right after college?

Post biochemistry student

I just graduated college with a biochemistry degree. Other than going to graduate school or medical school what can I do with this degree?

Photosynthesis

I am a college freshmen and am majoring in Astrobiology. I have two questions. However, they are unrelated to the career as a job and are more biochemistry questions:

1) Where in the Calvin-Benson cycle is HOH made as a by-product, aside from the production of glucose from 2PGAL's

2) Aside from saying 'sap' what is the scientific name for the sugary water in the Phloem of the vascular bands? Sap refers to everything in the bands. I would like a name for the sugary water specifically.

Thank you for the time. By the way, my professor did not know the answer to either of these two questions, and I am having little luck in finding the answers myself.
