Describe a typical "challenge" encountered in your work:
The biggest challenge I face in training dogs is not the dog itself, but the owners. Usually it is a couple, or a family that is involved, and as individuals, they respond differently to teaching the dog. My goal is to get the dog trained in a reasonable amount of time and still have the owners enjoy the process.

Clearly describe what you expect from the students:
The family arrives with a cute new puppy. The father is more stern with the pup. The mother is nurturing, and the children just want to play. How and when does each of them help in training when the pup must learn to respect each person?

In order to give the teacher some guidance in evaluating the student's project(s); list some tips that may help to assess the student's work:
-The pup must experience discipline with a collar correction.
-Work time for training must be balanced with play time.
-Pups do not need to play all the time to be happy, especially since we are trying to establish self-control.
-Our tools used to make the dog owning experience enjoyable are: heel, sit, stay, down, come. They should be absolute.
