Describe a typical "challenge" encountered in your work:
A 16-year-old high school junior basketball player is in the office and she has chipped her front tooth for the third time in the last year. This time an elbow in the face during practice caused it. She is tired of having the tooth chipped.

Clearly describe what you expect from the students:
How can this girl keep from re-injuring her tooth? Obviously wearing a mouth-guard would help, but it is very difficult to motivate a 16-year-old to wear one when the rest of the team doesn’t and the school or the coach does not require it.

In order to give the teacher some guidance in evaluating the student's project(s); list some tips that may help to assess the student's work:
How can the girl and the team be educated about the need to wear mouth protection? And how can the school and the coach be made aware of the need for mouth protection? What resources can be used? Where can mouth-guards be obtained?
