Describe a typical "challenge" encountered in your work:
The Iowa National Guard is continually recruiting qualified people to join our units. We offer outstanding skill and leadership training, educational benefits, and other benefits such as insurance, retirement, medical care and travel. How can we best approach and attract young people to our units?



Clearly describe what you expect from the students:
Create a plan (poster, radio or TV spot or multimedia project) to recruit high school students to the Iowa National Guard. Include enlistment criteria: attendance at 12 monthly training assemblies and 15 days of annual training each year. Expectations include promptness, proper attire, correct quipment for training.



In order to give the teacher some guidance in evaluating the student's project(s); list some tips that may help to assess the student's work:
