Describe a typical "challenge" encountered in your work:
While photography requires an appreciation of art, math and science skills are also vital. A photographer not only must see the world through the eyes of an artist, but must also develop math skills.

Clearly describe what you expect from the students:
Film processing chemicals are packaged in 5-liter units. Processing different sizes of color film requires different amounts of chemistry. -What would be the maximum amount of 4x5 sheets of film you can process with five liters of chemistry? -What would be the maximum amount of 120 roll film that can be processed with five liters? -What would be the maximum amount of 35mm film that can be processed with five liters?

In order to give the teacher some guidance in evaluating the student's project(s); list some tips that may help to assess the student's work:
One sheet of 4x5 film requires 35ml. of chemistry, one roll of 120 film requires 135 ml. of chemistry, and one roll of 35mm film requires 128 ml. of color chemistry.
